Reserve Champion Ster Gelding, Gauwe Jasper x Naen This IS the Friesian Gelding everyone wants! Amazing character and Dreamy Looks! Gauwe is Jet Black, 16.2 hands tall with a LONG mane reaching down to just above his knees and lots of tail and feathers. 1st Level Dressage, has won every Dressage class he's competed in, including a HIGH POINT of an entire show weekend at Colorado Horse Park. Gauwe has been in full time Professional Dressage Training, 3 to 5 days per week, (with an outstanding Trainer who has given Gauwe a fantastic start in Dressage), since he was imported in 2005 as a 3 1/2 year old. Gauwe performed the Ibop Riding Test at last year's FHANA inspection with a good passing score! This is a tough test! Gauwe is also trained to drive! 1st Photo taken this May, 2nd was in Holland as a 3 year old, 3rd, last summer Driving, and October 07 IBOP Test
Gauwe is the perfect family friend, as well as competition partner. He is sound in body and mind and has a wonderful safe and kind nature. Very willing to work, but is also easy going. He behaves just as well at a hectic showground as he does at home. Not spooky at all, a very trustworthy guy!
