Mom is a 1^st Premie Ster Mare, an absolutely stunning proud type, flashy, VERY Friesian, model prospect! Sired by Karel 370 out of a Mark Pref SterMare. She is aprox 16 Hands tall.  Stam 45.  Sister of Great Grandmother is the Mother of the Approved Stallion, Jochem.  This little filly, Zia, will have 8 generations of “full paper”.  Grandmother had 8 foals.  Great Grandmother had 16 foals.  Great Great Grandmother had 10 foals.  This is a nice FERTILE motherline, and that is hard to find within the Friesian Breed.

Zia is very friendly.   She’s got her head out of the gate looking for pats on the head and loves to be scratched.   She is curious and very independent of her mother, she is halter broke and leads nicely.  She’s had bathes and her feet are easily picked up.  She’s an in your pocket kind of gal.  She’s a smart little thing and it didn’t take long to train her to lead.  But of course, she’s spunky, too!

Zia is a GROOOOWING Girl,,, so she is going through some of the awkward stages, and she's been spending a lot of time in the sun. So, no need to worry, she really is BLACK and can be maintained black with consistent use of a summer sheet, and her shoulders WILL catch back up with her butt!!!!  =o)
