Petra was born the end of May, 2005. Stam 50. 2nd Premie puts her in the top 30% of all Friesian Fillies for Conformation and Movements, as evaluated by Inspector Jan Hendricks at that Moment in Time. Her pedigree carries 8 Generations of unbroken Ster or BETTER. Actually, 6 are Models, 5 of which are Preferent and 2 are Sters, one of which is her Mother's Mother and the Preferent Mother of the Approved Stallion Thomas 327, the other is her Great-Great-Great GrandMother and the Model Preferent Mother of the Approved Stallion Fokke 217, ALL IN HER DIRECT MOTHER LINE! The Fertility in this mare line is outstanding! Petra's mother has had 7 foals and she is only 11 years old! Now she is attempting Embryo Transfer! Petra's Grand Mother just had her 17th foal, and is being bred back, again! Petra's Great Grand Mother had no less than 13 foals. Friesian Horses are known to have difficulty with fertility, but NOT in THIS line!
Petra's Sire, Brandus, is a Talented and TALL stallion from the famous Reitse Preferent! Brandus was a former Champion of the Stallion Show, and also Reserve Champion of the Stallion Show. His scores for his approval testing were record breaking!
Petra is a sweet and flashy filly with elastic and exuberant movements! She loves to run and play and is so fun to be around. She has terrific conformation and should make an excellent mare for a truly outstanding base to your breeding program.
